About Us

Right to Play, Inc. a 501(c)(3) organization, has provided the Shreveport-Bossier City area with the first Boundless Playground? in Louisiana. This all-inclusive playground is designed and built so all children, the fully able and those with physical, sensory, or developmental disabilities can play together. It also offers full accessibility to adults with special needs.

RTP recognizes that the parents of children with disabilities are often fighting for the proper medical care, education and accessibility for their children and do not have the time or energy to fight for what may be considered a luxury. RTP considers it a basic right of all children: The right to play and interact with other children and forget that they may not look, move or talk the same. Outdoor play is important for all children. Playgrounds help build strength, teach sharing and problem solving through interactions with the children and the world around them, and build confidence, thus resulting in a sense of self-empowerment.

The Board of Right to Play, Inc serves voluntarily. We do not hire any staff or pay an executive director
