An Open Invitation

This is an open invitation for individuals, organizations, clubs or even businesses to participate in a project that will make a difference in the lives of children in our Shreveport-Bossier community. It is guaranteed that the difference you make in their lives will make an even larger difference in yours!

I challenge each of you to help Right to Play. Of course, donations are always appreciated, either monetary or by donating needed materials. The added benefit is that donations are tax deductible. They may even qualify for a tax credit if you file Louisiana State Taxes. But even more important, we need YOU to personally volunteer. Volunteering your help on a volunteer workday makes a HUGE difference. If you want to sponsor a volunteer day, contact us. We will be more than happy to tell you our current needs and how you can help.

Please help us stop the vandalism and misuse of the playground equipment. If you see someone disobeying the rules or doing something that can harm others, please say something or call the police. The City is unable to repair or replace all the broken or missing equipment. Right to Play is committed to helping the City repair, replace and update the equipment. But our funds are limited. There will be a time we are unable to continue. We want this playground to always be a shining gem for all children and adults who live in or visit our Shreveport community. Please help us keep the Leaps and Bounds Playground a viable place where all children can play ?just like all the other kids.?

You may never personally know the children who will benefit the most from this special playground, but their smiles and their laughter will be because people like you care. This playground is a gift to the community. Please remember that you are never too old to play. Come swing on the swings, play in the water and slide down a slide. After all, you helped build it and it belongs to all. Please say yes to ?adopting? Right to Play as an organization that you are proud to be a part of.
